The pop star revealed her new platinum blonde dye job tonight at the American Music Awards, where she will perform live for the first time since her life-saving kidney transplant. With her newly lightened strands swept to the side in a purposefully undone long bob, she showed off her supernatural skin with just a swirl of bronzer and a raspberry stain on the mouth. The "Wolves" singer rounded out the look with a thigh-skimming Coach leather motorcycle dress, which highlighted her mile-long legs to lethal effect.
More often than not, a radical dye job signals major change in one's life. And considering that Gomez recently broke up with her boyfriend of 10 months The Weeknd, is in the midst of reigniting a relationship with old flame Justin Bieber, and has a new album in the works, there has never been more proof that taking the peroxide plunge is the quickest path to a new lease on life.
