Tonight, Jimmy Kimmel will host the 89th annual Academy Awards in Los Angeles. While plenty of you might already have plans to host an Oscars viewing party (or perhaps attend one, and neatly avoid both planning, prepping, and cleaning up), we can relate to those who rather enjoy Giuliana Rancic’s forced red carpet ramblings and the rest of the awards ceremony at home alone. (How else to best enjoy the break-neck pace of Twitter's peanut gallery?!) But what if you, uh, no longer have a television? (This is 2017, after all.) Fret not! You have options.

You can always try and be social and make your way over to a friend's house with a decent sized screen. (Red carpet commentary loves company, after all.) Barring that, ABC will be live-streaming the ceremony online, although you will need to ask someone to share their cable login info with you in order to sign in. Since ABC’s live stream is only available in select cities, make sure to check their site to see if that option is available to you. ABC will also be streaming the Oscars on their app, which is compatible with both iOS and Android.

If that doesn’t work, C-Net suggests starting a free one week trail on Sling TV or PlayStation Vue, streaming services that both offer up ABC. And if that seems like too much of a commitment, you can always look into buying a small indoor digital antenna as a last resort. These relatively inexpensive gadgets can easily pick up and broadcast a number of channels, including ABC, for free, and have the added bonus of making you feel positively James Bond–level resourceful. Never miss a shocking moment or red carpet win again.
