The lampshade silhouette is a tried and true dress silhouette for the reformed boho queen: she donned a sea blue version by Gucci for the Live by Night premiere in January and followed up in an abridged take on the idea by Clare Waight Keller for Chloé at The Lost City of Z premiere in Los Angeles.
Last night’s ensemble had a certain Parisian polish, with the house's signature bouclé applied to the bodice and the skirt of the neo-Grecian, pleated dress. Metallic python sandals made for a glamorous finish, what you might call Hollywood's alternative to the gladiator flat.
