If one remembers Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’s much-documented nuptials back in December, the festivities seemed to last for weeks. The happy couple proved to be the masters of wedding celebrations—Chopra herself wore two different bridal dresses, and they even held two different ceremonies as well (they performed a Christian and Hindu ceremony, both grand in setting). Now, five months into their marriage, Chopra and Jonas are revisiting groom and bride styling, this time with an unexpected backdrop: the Cannes film festival.
Hitting the red carpet together yesterday for the premiere of Les Plus Belles Annees D’une Vie, Chopra and Jonas wore all-white ensembles that couldn’t help but make them look like they were about to tie the knot. (Been there, done that.) Chopra wore a strapless, tiered gown by Lebanese designer Georges Hobeika, with jewels by Chopard. Had she worn it for her wedding, it would be a striking choice, though the silhouette worked equally as well for Cannes, which is heavy on extravagant, fairytale-like fashions. Meanwhile, Jonas complemented her to perfection in a satin white suit by Berluti, which he styled with a white button-up, cream bowtie, and smart black Chelsea boots.
