The last days of winter are still lingering across the East Coast, keeping spring’s rejuvenating powers at bay. Fortunately, Chrissy Teigen has managed to find a beauty mood-boost that transcends seasons: a quick escape to a sun-drenched farm that called for carefree countryside hair.

On an impromptu trip to a petting zoo with her 11-month-old baby, Luna, the model and social media star dressed the part by pulling her lengths into two messy buns at the top of her head, subtly embellished with two small French plaits at the crown. The look read playful, yet practical, and she seemed joyfully lit from within, surrounded by a crowd of squirming piglets. To complete the tableau, Teigen held up her daughter to introduce her to a long-haired rabbit, which happened to show off Luna’s own softly curled crop.
