Just as Princess Diana mania has hit a fever pitch, here comes the brand-new trailer of season two of The Crown to fuel our enduring fascination with the British royal family. In the short trailer, we see Queen Elizabeth II 10 years into her reign and somehow still struggling with her marriage to Prince Philip (who’s now sporting a sexy midlife crisis beard); the rebellious nature of her younger sister, Princess Margaret; and a number of prime ministers. The clip also shares a glimpse of brand-new cast members, including Matthew Goode (who plays Margaret’s husband, the photographer Antony Armstrong-Jones) and Michael C. Hall and Jodi Balfour as John and Jackie Kennedy. The Crown’s second season premieres on Netflix on December 8. Until then, we’ll just have to keep ourselves busy with the flood of Princess Diana documentaries on TV.
