The Best Looks From Paris Fashion Week Get a Wild Halloween Makeover

Haute Halloween 101!

Grab a furry mask, add a breathtaking look from the Paris collections, roar!

Could Paris Fashion Week have occurred in more dire political times? (Nope, probably not.) Meanwhile, the runways were adazzle with some of the most lovely, shimmery, artisanal, and, in their strange and glorious beauty, optimistic looks offered in a long time. How to reconcile so much ravishment with such ravages?

Watch: The Best Looks From Paris Fashion Week Get a Wild Halloween Makeover:

This was the question director Bardia Zeinali, fashion editor Jorden Bickham, and art director Andrew Gold considered when it came time to capture some of our favorite looks from the Spring 2018 collections. Their answer? Accede to the phantasmagoric nature of daily life, declare every day to be Halloween, eat penny candy, don an animal head, and be as sparkly as a disco ball. Paris was never wilder, nor has fashion ever seemed more relevant.
