If three’s a trend, then Miaou pants are officially here to stay. The New York–based brand has been turning up on the likes of some of the most stylish It girls in town. Bella Hadid and Kendall Jenner both stepped out in the pinstripe look, while Bella’s sister, Gigi, tried on the plaid print version for size. The coolest thing about the cropped trousers (other than said celebrity clientele) is the fact that they come with an interchangeable belt so shoppers can pick from various unexpected finishes, including blue velvet and silk taffeta. The most popular add-on of choice appears to be the metal chain style, as seen on Bella, Kendall, and Gigi, too.
Selena Gomez is the latest to take the look for a spin. The April Vogue cover girl, who works with celebrity stylist Christian Classen, wore hers with a cropped tissue turtleneck that put the grommet detail of the trousers on full display. And while her peers paired their Miaous with ankle booties, Gomez chose Robert Clergerie mules, a nice way to transition an abbreviated pant into spring. We also like that Gomez opted for a leather top-handle Coach tote with stealth monochromatic hardware to keep the focus on the statement belt. She topped off her ensemble with custom tinted sunglasses from Coach—a Gomez accessory signature.
