We’ve always assumed you needed four degrees from Oxford and a reference from Mary Poppins to work for the royal family, but for their latest opening, Kate Middleton and Prince William are using a head-hunting method far more diplomatic than that: LinkedIn.

Yes, you, a mere mortal, can apply to work for the world’s most famous family. We aren’t saying you’ll get it: The job, senior communications officer, must have “extensive experience within a marketing, media, or PR office, with a relevant degree (or equivalent qualification) and, ideally, have experience of working within the charity sector.” Plus, you’ll need the “ability to handle sensitive information with tact and discretion at all times.” That means no telling your friends about the oh-so-adorable thing Prince George did that afternoon, or whether or not Kate’s hair is as magically shiny as it appears. We’re just saying, easier said than done.

This isn’t the first job opening with the royal pair this year—back in March, it was reported that Middleton was looking for a private secretary. But it is the first one in recent memory that’s been so accessible to the masses. Kate and Will, the people’s royals—and employers, apparently!
