Some red carpet fashion moments are monumental and some are just super-duper hard. So said rap star Gucci Mane when he visited the Vogue offices last September to review the Gucci Spring 2017 runway show on camera. Last night, he showed up to the 2017 BET Awards in a striking turquoise tuxedo from said collection looking dapper, and, as the East Atlanta Santa would say himself, “so nasty.” Gucci Mane, whose real name is Radric Davis, has been building up his fashion cred for the last year, and it’s no surprise he’s embraced the Alessandro Michele–helmed label as his go-to brand—he owes his rap moniker to the double G, after all.

Although Gucci Mane, who was nominated in two categories at the awards show, certainly made a strong fashion statement, he had some fierce competition. DJ Khaled’s beloved son (and executive producer), baby Asahd, was dressed in the very same Gucci label suit, custom-made to fit the tyke’s slight frame. His dad told the press that Asahd’s “mommy” took him “to the Gucci store and got him tailored up.” Typically, a twinning moment on a major red carpet is a total fashion fail, but in this case, it was a win for both Gucci Mane and the little mogul. One Gucci is great but as DJ Khaled would say, “another one!” is always better.
