Even on vacation Gaga keeps things radical, as evidenced by the outfit she wore to take a stroll through the hiking trails of Montauk yesterday with boyfriend, Christian Carino. She skipped athleisure in favor an unapologetically glamorous aesthetic, choosing a ruffled Rachel Comey crop top and long black skirt, worn with glossy nude stilettos. The minimal look wasn’t as sporty as Carino’s T-shirt and shorts, and yet in shades of black and navy the couple managed to match perfectly.
On anyone else, such an impractical outfit might seem fussy, but we’ve come to expect high fashion drama from Gaga’s wardrobe–even on her off days. Walking through the woods in heels and a form-fitting skirt might not be for everyone, but the offbeat outdoorsy moment is pure Gaga.
