Over the past few years, Kate Middleton has cultivated an effortlessly composed sense of style. But behind each A-line dress and nude pair of pumps is Natasha Archer, the Duchess of Cambridge’s personal assistant and stylist. Earlier this spring, Archer showed off her own fashion chops in a different context: her French château-set wedding.

Archer wore a boat-neck white lace gown when she married Chris Jackson—a Getty Images photographer who covers the royal family. For the occasion, Archer accessorized her wedding day look with white high heels and a long veil, which was further accentuated by her upswept hair. The wedding and reception took place at Château Rigaud, located in the Bordeaux region. A gaggle of flower girls and page boys joined the bride and groom to celebrate the sunny day, and giggled throughout their photoshoot with Mavric Photography. The reception took place in a rustic room, where greenery could be found on and above the floral-printed table cloths. Over all, a beautiful lesson in French country chic.

Below, take a look inside the couple’s special day.
