The 91st annual Academy Awards are very nearly here—yes, without a host, but with some famous friends in tow—and everyone and their Lyft driver has an idea about who and what will go home with a trophy, come Sunday. There is usually a bit of mental gymnastics required for filling out the requisite Oscar office pools, as Michelle Ruiz noted in her analysis of likely winners and losers come Sunday—did the critical hit and audience-beloved A Star Is Born peak too early? If they're not going to do it in character, should Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper just let Kelly Clarkson sing "Shallow" for them? Could the sort of problematic Green Book go the distance over Roma? (And if so, is that Netflix's fault?) Did people really like Bohemian Rhapsody, or do they just really like Queen? Is the Best Actor category kind of impossible this year? There's a lot to consider. And anyway, it wouldn’t be the Oscars without a few surprises and snubs thrown in to the mix—check out our predictions, along with the full list of nominees below, and follow along on the night for all of the fun, the fashion, and to see whether or not your picks made the cut, of course. Tune in—on February 24 on ABC at 8 p.m. ET, to be precise—to find out.
