Leading the crop of bobbed supermodels who are elevating the classic style with here-to-have-fun ease, Anja Rubik showed that sometimes there’s no better strategy than to simply let nature take its course.
Air-dried into thick windswept waves, Rubik’s trademark chop and unpowered bronzed glow captured the magic that happens when a humid day and a warm breeze meet a five-minute beauty routine. Not that a trip to shore is a prerequisite: the model shouted out to city girls everywhere with an androgynous pairing of a leggy LBD and a boxy blazer from Saint Laurent, a downtown look that was further cemented by a melty smudge of kohl around her eyes. And now that summer Fridays and the impromptu get-togethers they bring with them are really—truly—here, isn’t it nice to know that looking your best can be a five-minute affair?
