Nicki Minaj Is a Futuristic Barbie in Migos’s Neon Bright Video for “Motorsport”

Nicki Minaj has always favored risqué looks with a futuristic twist (remember when she pulled a Lil Kim a few months back at Paris Fashion Week with a metallic diamond pastie and purple Y2K-era shades?), but she’s somehow managed to one-up herself in Migos’s new “Motorsport” video.

The neon bright clip, which finds Quavo, Takeoff, and Offset rapping in front of fancy cars with DeLorean-esque doors, features a number of bold motocross-inspired custom-made Unravel looks from the Migos crew and Cardi B, but ultimately it’s Minaj’s lustrous outfit that shines the brightest. The rapper wears a full-body, high-neck custom latex catsuit by Vex Clothing underneath a mirrored corset, finishing off the look with pink braids that extend to the very bottom of her translucent PVC thigh-high heeled boots. In fact, this could be her most radical take on the Barbie trope yet.
