Bella Hadid Finds a Flashy Alternative to the Leather Legging

Ever since Bella Hadid catapulted onto the catwalk alongside older sister Gigi, the younger Hadid has demonstrated her directional fashion sense off the runway. Earlier today in New York, Hadid made the case for a glossy PVC-pant that's both kinkier and cozier than the kind of leather leggings celebrities love to wear to the airport.

Hadid’s own pants preferences have ranged from the comfy (Nike x Kith’s track pant) to the avant-garde (Ksenia Schnaider’s double-denim short and trouser combo), but here she seems to staking out some new territory. The trouser, cut like a jean, recalled the simple styles favored by Gwyneth Paltrow and Winona Ryder in the 90s. Edgy accessories added to the throwback effect: a leopard-print fanny pack, combat boots by Louis Vuitton, and Chrome Hearts’s captains hat.
