Keeping Up With the Wests: Kim, Kanye (and Their Kids!) Answer 73 Questions

For Kim Kardashian West, there’s no such thing as a “lazy day”: And, indeed, when Vogue caught up with her in Calabasas, the television personality/beauty mogul/aspiring criminal-justice lawyer was in full-on mom mode, fielding 73 questions as North, Saint, and Chicago all clamored for her attention. (Luckily, Kanye was home to keep them busy—and to field a few questions himself.)

Padding around their sprawling, Axel Vervoordt–designed house—which she compares to a “minimal monastery”—Kardashian West dispenses some of her best advice, from handling negative press (“just ignore it”) to what to do in Armenia (“eat everything”). She also reveals her pet peeve (a disorganized closet), her go-to sources for advice (her mom and her sisters), the product she can’t live without (her KKW contour kit, of course), and a few of her rather surprising talents. (Hint: They involve cavities and toes.)

When the interview shifts to the question of fame, Kardashian West is characteristically candid. How does she feel about the paparazzi? “It depends on what I look like that day.” But looks, to be sure, aren’t everything. What does she wish more people would focus on? Kardashian West pulls no punches. “I wish they would not focus on my ass all the time.”
