It’s Always Sunny at Sydney Fashion Week

After a year of intermittent lockdowns and closed borders, life is ticking back to normal in Australia. The biggest sign—at least for fashion—will be the return of Australian Fashion Week, scheduled for May 31 to June 4, 2021. The week is expected to be maskless and at full capacity for shows from brands like Romance Was Born, Jordan Dalah, Kitx, and more, held at Carriageworks and other historic locations around Sydney. 

While Vogue Australia’s team will be attending the shows in-person, the rest of us will have to enjoy the collections from 10,000 miles away. Not to worry, though. Dan Roberts, Vogue’s street style photographer in Sydney, will be capturing all the local fashion. Over the past three years, Roberts’s images have taken us from Bondi shores to the center of the city, finding guests in their best Marine Serre, Prada, and Dion Lee pieces. 

This upcoming season is sure to bring even more great style, but until then, here’s a look back at the best of Sydney’s sunny street style.
