Celebrities are getting in the game this month, offering a play-by-play on how to be a stylish sports fan. Last week, Emily Ratajkowski one-upped Bella Hadid when she took red leather pants to a Brooklyn Nets game. Paired with a tiny crop top, it was a match for Hadid’s clingy, plunging knit seen days earlier when she cheered on the Los Angeles Lakers. But no matter what the team, very few sartorial strategies (even sexy ones) can beat a twinning moment. Last night, Bella and her sister Gigi suited up in New York Rangers gear to watch the hockey team beat the Anaheim Ducks at Madison Square Garden. Both of the Hadids wore coordinating jerseys: Bella in a snow-white version, Gigi in cool navy. True to form, Bella went the streetwise route, layering hers over a white hoodie that tied in nicely with her on-trend white booties. She added a Rangers toboggan with pom-pom detail for some rinkside warmth, then carried a backpack slung over one shoulder, leaving her hands free to cheer on her team. Gigi went for a cute and sporty look, wearing Miaou cropped pants with a built-in belt. The stealth waistband created a nipped-in silhouette that was much-needed when working with a boxy jersey. She laced into Reeboks done in a silver metallic finish, lending the look a touch of shine that didn’t feel out of place on game night.
