Céline Dion’s fashion rebirth has come together with the help of her stylist, Law Roach. Together, the duo have turned seemingly unattainable runway pieces, such as a neon green Balenciaga dress or a leather Saint Laurent bustier, into real-world fashion moments. You didn’t have to look much further than the endless line of fans outside Dion’s hotel in Paris during the couture shows earlier this month, all waiting to get a glimpse of her daily looks, to know they’re onto something. What’s more, the way she styles her high fashion ensembles with playful verve is often radically different from the way they’re shown on the runway.
Take Dion’s recent Giambattista Valli couture frock, for example. In the brand’s show it was left bare, with strappy heels and little else. Dion took the pale pink dress and did a fashion 180, pairing it with maroon, suede, thigh-high boots, a white Delvaux bag, and pink-trimmed sunglasses. She’s done the same with Saint Laurent’s glitter boots, Dsquared2’s pouf-sleeved jacket, and, yes, even a full Céline outfit.
