The Trumps’ first international trip is coming to a close with the President and First Lady in Italy for the annual G7 summit. And today at the Chierici Palace, Melania Trump arrived in Dolce & Gabbana, an Italian fashion house she has relied on throughout her travels: in Riyadah, Saudi Arabia it was a white suit, for Israel it was a black lace dress, while a trip to the Vatican saw Trump don a separate lace sheath. And last night in Brussels, Trump again chose a black off-the-shoulder piece from Dolce & Gabbana, punctuated with floral embellished sandals. For today’s more formal proceedings, Trump went instead for bold color in Dolce & Gabbana’s floral coat and coordinating clutch.
The heavily embellished and intricate coat takes its cues from the designers’ Alta Moda collections, elevating her tonal sheath dress and matching stilettos. Switching things up, Trump carried a complementary bag adorned with the same buds. She continued to follow the more-is-more approach for evening in Dolce & Gabbana's glittering high-neck dress and silver shoes, a fashion-forward take on monochromatic dressing for a concert at the ancient Greek Theater in Taormina.
