Earlier today, First Lady Melania Trump visited the Magritte Museum in Brussels wearing a custom leather suit from Belgian designer Maison Ullens. Joining her was France’s new First Lady, Brigitte Macron, who sported her own directional take on daytime dressing. Macron, a frequent front row presence at Louis Vuitton, made waves recently when she sported the house’s eggshell blue dress suit at her husband’s inauguration. This time around, she lent a fashion-forward French twist to another classic: the LBD.

The drop-waist, flounced-hem dress had a youthful slant, but it was the accessories that stole the show. Louis Vuitton’s low-slung black belt provided polish, while the house’s beige and black pumps added a graphic element—and further elongated Macron's impressively toned legs.
