The good news is that the wait may soon be over: Rihanna posted a selfie on Instagram this weekend and told a fan straight out when to expect her next album—“2019.” (Short, but sweet!)

And she’s not alone: Pop heavyweights such as Ariana Grande, Lady Gaga, Adele, and Selena Gomez will all grace us with new material in 2019. The consensus? It’s about time—after a tough 2018, the world needs their dance-ready hits more than ever.
