Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, was joined by Prince Harry earlier today at Kensington Palace for the launch of Together: Our Community Cookbook, a charity book project to benefit those affected by the Grenfell Tower tragedy. Her mother Doria Raglan was also in attendance, and both women chose elegant and appropriate looks for the occasion.
Markle opted to wear a menswear-inspired coat in bright cobalt blue by Symthe, a favorite label of her sister-in-law Kate Middleton. It was the ideal piece to liven up the sleek black look she wore underneath, including an accordion pleat skirt from friend designer Misha Nonoo and discreet suede pumps from Sarah Flint. Taking a different tack was Raglan, who was dressed in a mostly neutral, monochromatic palette, save for a printed paisley shawl. Together they were the picture of chic autumnal style—proof that style runs in the family. Shop Meghan’s fall colored coat looks below.
