It’s why model Ming Xi unwittingly found herself in the spotlight earlier today, tripping over her skirt and falling to her knees onto the VS runway in all her Goddess-segment finery. Astonishingly, she managed to maintain her composure as she fell, echoing Jennifer Lawrence’s fateful moment at the 2013 Oscars, a mistake that become a viral-meme sensation.
Xi completed her walk with a little help from fellow model Gizele Oliveira and had the entire crowd cheering her on as she got back on her feet. She proved that taking a tumble isn’t necessarily a bad thing, especially when it ends with all eyes on you.
