By now, it’s safe to say that G-Dragon’s appreciation for clothes exceeds that of the average musician. While the K-pop icon’s wardrobe is filled with looks direct from the runways, he isn’t above indulging in a bit of retail therapy. Case in point: His latest social media posts which take followers along as he enjoys the ultimate shopping spree. Taking over Dover Street Market’s Tokyo outpost for an afternoon, the star had fun testing out a series of coveted items direct from the Fall collections. With Calvin Klein’s clear trenches, Balenciaga’s embellished trainers, and Moncler’s oversize puffers all in the mix, his selections offered a seasonal menswear edit that’s fit for a fashion chameleon.
G-Dragon came to the store looking already stylish in his bucket hat, frayed jeans, and pieces from his PeaceMinusOne label (which is sold at Dover Street). But he amassed quite the collection of brand-new duds and seemed to have had a lot of fun trying them on and posing for his fans on Instagram. And in the age of selfies and snaps, who hasn’t turned a dressing room into their own private fashion editorial? Stars, they’re just like us!
