Brigitte Macron is back at the Elysée Palace after a three-day tour of India with her husband, French President Emmanuel Macron. For her arrival, the First Lady chose Altuzarra's sherbet-colored blazer to offset her black underpinnings and carried a micro top-handle lady bag by her preferred clothier, Louis Vuitton. From there, Macron continued to champion her signature silhouettes—minidresses, suiting, and lace eveningwear—on her trip for an elegant approach to fashion diplomacy.

On her first day in India, Macron visited Qutub Minar, the UNESCO World Heritage site, and donned a long-sleeve version of the Vuitton minidress she wore to meet Argentinian First Lady Juliana Awanda last July. For the evening’s state dinner at the presidential palace in New Dehli, Macron tried a new silhouette, a sheath-style dress with cut-out shoulders in lace. It was a demure alternative to the lace minidresses she wore to host the Trumps for Bastille Day celebrations.

For a daytime outing to visit the Lohdi Colony, Macron went with a color block dress that played off the area’s street art, but kept things simple below with neutral tone stilettos.

On her final outing in India—a visit to the Taj Mahal with her husband—Macron brought out a tan double-breasted summer suit with skinny trousers. Again, Macron grounded her look with tonal stilettos for a sophisticated touch.
