Nobody Subverts the Suit Like Kristen Stewart

Today, Kristen Stewart is out and about in New York City making the promo rounds for her new film, Charlie’s Angels—and while the actress is well-known for her love of a good suit, it seems her current style agenda is to subvert the buttoned-up look more than ever. The winning tailoring streak began this morning when Stewart arrived at a Good Morning America taping wearing a gray pantsuit by Acne Studios, complete with a cropped blazer and high-waisted trousers. The reworked silhouette was interesting enough, but she took it to the next level by forgoing a top in favor of a bra, as well as mounds of necklaces. (Imagine wearing that to a boardroom meeting.) Finally, she added classic pumps and wayfarer sunglasses for a sleek finish.

Her sexy take on 9-to-5 dressing didn’t end there. After her taping, Stewart hit the streets in an entirely new suit getup: a timeless blue tweed Chanel skirt suit, complete with large cargo pockets. The jacket-skirt combo was youthful and fresh all on its own, but the actress leaned into the spunky vibe even harder with a cropped tank top styled underneath, as well as hefty combat boots instead of a heel. Call these two winning ensembles corporate girl gone wild—somebody alert HR!
