What do David Lynch, Ryan Gosling, and countless electro fanatics all agree on? The answer is Chromatics, the electronic pop outfit made up of Johnny Jewel, Adam Miller, Nat Walker, and the stunning singer Ruth Radelet. And with Showtime’s revival of Twin Peaks this past week, the sultry songstress returned to the spotlight with a platinum fringed mane, a heavily lined feline flick, and sheer pink lips that conjure up beachside images of a ’60s Goldie Hawn mixed with Brigitte Bardot—topped with the kind of cool-to-core effortlessness that begs for a Saint Laurent contract.

The dark and dreamy band’s long-anticipated comeback went down during the second episode, with Radelet’s soft features and hushed vocals creeping under the burning magenta light as she sang “Shadow,” a song that was released in 2015 but got a Lynchian face-lift in the show, as well as in a newly released music video.

The foursome, who gained a cult following for its work on films like Drive and Lost River, not to mention a Karl Lagerfeld–requested performance at Chanel’s Spring 2013 show, is no stranger to show-stopping beauty looks—especially not Radelet. And with her forward-thinking hair and makeup choices of yore, from painted-on black tears to Italo disco–feathered hair, there is little doubt her new look has already shaped the summer’s beauty vibe: disco-fated and perfect for the dance floor—no velvet curtains required.
