How This Bombshell Model Does Easy Summer Hair

At Cannes, la Croisette serves as an incubator for summer beauty trends, with a seemingly unending wash of South of France sunlight inspiring the season’s hair mainstays. And though bobs, buns, and blowouts have each had their turn in the Riviera spotlight, effortlessness is the defining characteristic of the insouciant styles that stick.

Just ask Barbara Palvin. The Hungarian model made the most of her visit to the Côte d’Azur, showing off two takes on long and easy lengths that are enough to make one shelve a warm-weather impulse to pick up the scissors. Today, Palvin’s cascade of golden brunette hair pulled fluent focus as it swung over shoulders, with two slim side sections gently rolled and secured at the back for a bohemian take on brushed out beach waves.

When it came time to secure her hair off her face, Palvin didn’t settle for a simple ponytail. She bound her lengths into an romantic plaited version of the style—securing high at the back of the head—and finished the look with a pair of oversize, rounded shades. The lesson? Even the most carefree of summer styles are better with a twist.
